I'm looking into getting a long arm kit and some d44's. But my main question is what kit have yall had the best luck with? I like my R/E lift that i have now but
I'm seeing if someone is running something they like a little more. I'm probably going to go with a 5.5" kit and it has to be long arm.

There are a couple of rigs on the forum running the Rock Krawler Long Arm kits. I've heard nothing but good reviews from the owners of those rigs. I don't have a long-arm lift yet, so I don't have any first-hand experience with them. A good buddy of mine is running the SkyJacker 6" long arm kit and it rides like a tank. He's running cheapie SkyJacker shocks, so that probably has alot to do with it.

I'm running a Full Traction lift now, and if/when I decide to go the long arm route, I'll probably go with the Full Traction Long Arm lift. I'm very happy with the quality of their stuff so far......

Good luck. You might try PMing either 1BLKJP (Jack) or Scout (Scott) and asking how they like their RK long arms........

Yeah, I'm definitely happy with my RK setup. Here's a pic of it in action. I actually have mine stretched out to 104" wheelbase, but also rocked it out RK style at stock 94" also.

You really want to look at what the goals of your rig are before you make the decision on how to build your suspension.

I'm not a betting man........but I'd say your guess is wrong. I'd be willing to wager he did make it up....

Yeah, there has been a shitload of water come thru that trail over the last few months and it takes about 112" wheelbase to clear that fall these days. I made it up however with a little help from my trusty Warn. :D

Im impressed. I had no idea a jeep would make it up a 10' vertical wall. Imma have to try that some day. How long did it take?

i heard my first bad thing about the RK kit this weekend at the badlands..

CLAYTON FTW!! tnt customs has a nice setup as well

im either going RE for simplicity since its fully bolt on.. or if i get access to a welder i plan on going with the clayton..

i would only run the RE one if i dont get the triangulated kit however.. if i went clayton id triangulate my rear

RK FTW.

I've had mine for almost two years now and LOVE it. There's something to be said about keeping all four tires on the ground. :D

and didnt help that joe looks like he is trying to push you back DOWN off of the ledge. now lets talk about that Hanna Montanna crash helmet and where is the photo of you and ryan holding hands in mock fear while your waiting for the winch line?

and RK FTW :)

I know that I am a little late to the party, but I like my Full Traction kit. Very similar in quality to RE and RK, and it has a triangulated upper rear link included in the kit. I liked mine so much that I stretched the wheelbase using the kit and just modified it in the rear.

Here are a couple pics:

Before the stretch:

After the stretch:

I've been thinking about stretching the jeep for awhile now. I'm thinking i wanna go to a 100 or 102" wheelbase but I'm going to have to have a shop do it because I've never done anything like that with a car. I think i found the kit i'm going to get it's the 5.5 Rock krawler long arm stretch kit. Any opinions?

I run an RE LA but be sure to check out Clayton's kit too. Clayton requires a little more welding but if you're up for that, it has been getting some rave reviews. :)
