Looking for a quiet A/T tire

Hey all, I have a set of 33x12.5x15 Duratracs on Level 8 tracker and am starting To wish I had gotten something less noisy. The whine from them is pretty obnoxious, and seems loudest at 60mph, which is my cruising speed. Thinking of selling these tires and getting something less aggressive and noisy.

Anyone know of any good A/T tires that are a tad more road friendly and quiet? I like everything else about he Duratracs, except the noise. I have run. BFG A/T and do not remember them being his loud, though I ran them on a truck.

Thanks

I have BFG A/T's 35x12.5x15 run 60 to 70 on the freeway to work 6 days a week can hardly hear them.......really stick to the road n rocks..sidewalls are really durable..not very good in the loose stuff.....don't know about mud....got 28k on them and still have half tread
Are you sure there isn't something else wrong, maybe a bad front end component, unbalanced tire, separated belt, some cupping or something like that? Just a thought, I have not run Duratracs but I can't help thinking something else is the real problem.
I've got Nitto Terra Grapplers (285/70R/17). Love them so far. Haven't been through winter yet with them.

Not totally sure, but the tires have about 10k miles on them and sound more like a MT tire than I expected them to.

That sounds about lie what I'd expect, always had good luck with BFG tires, this is the first set of Goodyears I have ever had.

I had heard the NIttos were as load as the Duratrac once they are broken in. Anyone ever run both and can comment?
How many miles have you put on them?
Wow, Duratracs are some of the quietest a/t tires on the market, maybe you need some OEM sr/a

I doubt they are the quietest, they are by far the loudest A/T I have ever run. Looking at how aggressive the tread is, I can see why too. The tires look good, drive good, etc, but they are certainly loud. If I spent less time on the road, and more in the mud I'd deal with it. Problem is , I drive 18k miles a year, and OffRoad 3-4x a year, so I think the Duratrac might be a tad more aggressive than what I needed.
If the Goodyears are too loud the only thing I can think of that "might" be quieter on a jeep are the BFG's. A lot of the others are real similar to the Goodyears.

Upgrade your factory speakers. It might even be cheaper.

Well, it may be worth checking out before you sink a bunch of money into tires. Maybe find someone else with the Duratracs and go for a ride in their Jeep?
I run BFG KOs on my truck, and have run them for years. I run Duratracs on my jeep and they are no louder then the BFGs although I only have 5000 miles on the jeep, maybe they will get louder over time?
7500 miles on mine and zero complaints from the DT's and I'm hypersensitive to road noise. I have ran them on three other vehicles and they are as quiet as I can expect from an aggressive tire.
Have about 15,000 on my Duratracs. They've been great. Road noise isn't that much different than my SRAs were.
