I'm looking for springs for my YJ build. I'll be running SOA with a Dana 60 front & 14-bolt rear, which IIRC should net me about 5.5" lift. My plan is to run 38s, so I'm thinking 2" lift springs should give me plenty of room. I'd like something close to a stock spring rate, but with the extra weight of the Mercedes diesel and whatever winch & bumper I end up installing I'm not sure if I should go with 3" springs up front or 2" with a higher rate. Any suggestions or advice? No RC, that's what's on there now and I hated them.

You might consider 3" up front with a softer rate to give a easier ride and compensate for the additional weight, and 2" on the rear with the softer rate.

No matter what you go with, it will be trial and error.

Good Luck, L.M.
