I'll be driving out to Vegas on the 28th and will be staying for a week. I lived in Vegas for 15 years before moving to Colorado so I don't need to waste my time with the tourist stuff; been there, done that, too many times to count.

I'm driving my JK and I'm stoked the weather will be warm enough to put the top down. I also would like to find a trail or two to run while I'm there. Are there any groups going out the last weekend of March? If so and if I can get the time I would love to join.

Either way, if you see a rescue green JK with Colorado plates, make sure you wave!

I will see if I can round up some guys for next weekend. Maybe do a night run or two after that weekend.

This will be the last weekend before our son ships off for Great Lakes (Boot Camp) otherwise I would be in. I would be in the next weekend if you are still in town then.

Enjoy your stay in our wonderful city!

Thank you all for the replies. I'm sure I'll find something; some spur of the moment thing. I lived in Henderson for 12 years before moving to Colorado. I don't need to do the touristy stuff on the Strip. I'm perfectly happy with a comped buffet at Sunset Station and hanging with friends.

I didn't get my wrangler until I after I left Vegas and I can only imagine how some of the trails are; most people don't realize how much beauty is in the desert.

Go over Wheelers Pass or take Bitter Spring road. Both are good site seeing roads. My transfer case is currently in pieces on my workbench, so I'm a no go.

I have a couple friends hitting me up for a run this weekend so I will put something together for Saturday. Any suspension mods done to your Jeep?

I was supposed to have my lift put on by now. Unfortunately, my suspension is still stock. The Colorado weather didn't cooperate with my install plans. What type of trails are you running?
