Did a quick search and didnt really find what I was looking for.

But mostly Im wondering if anyone knows if the locks are Wrangler specific, or could say ones from a Cherokee or some other vehicle work? Possibly year specific too?

I havent gotten into them yet, but the drivers side is goofy and will not unlock. But the face seems broken on top of the fact that it doesnt work, so Im thinking of just replacing them from something at the junk yard. Problem is, there are no Wranglers at the junk yard.

I'm not sure on cross fit but I know the wrangler key cylinders are on eBay all the time for like $10

Time is more the issue; my daughter is coming home in it and I only have two days to get to a couple issues on it.

does your key just turn, or when you try to lock it from the inside the little lock lever just flips back and forth and nothing happens and dosnt fill like its catching anything?

It locks on the inside, but the tumber is worn out and needs to be replaced. Im hoping that worse case I can swap the passenger for the driver; but Im not gonna hold my breath.

If I can find out about compatibility, I know my junkyards have a number of cherokees and dodge rigs that may have the same lock.

Go to the yard and if you find em with keys you are in. Take a picture and measurement to be positive. Time is an issue and thats the best I got.
