Bought a new soft top to replace old one that was in bad condition. But, it seems that the bar in the very back needs to be raised because the top is kind of sloped downwards in the back, and gets really loose and starts flapping when driving. The problem is, I don't know how to get the bar to stay up; and when putting on the top it seems way too easy and loose.
I'm pretty new to jeep's, just bought my TJ a few months back so, your help will be appreciated!

The bar should stay up even without the cloth attached to anything on the frame.

How are the cloth straps?
(Circled in red on the photo.)
There are cloth straps attaching the rear bow to the middle bow.

They get tangled around sometimes when the top is removed, bringing the rear bow up too high.
Or... they wear out and break, which may let the bar slip down.
The rear bow should sit right where you see it in the photo. At the rear corners of the roll bars.
Your cloth straps may have broken.
