Low tire pressure dash light stays on

I just picked up a new-to-me 2010 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. The dash has an indicator for low tire pressure. There are sensor in the tire stems that tell the on board computer if a tire is low. I have had the tires checked at the dealer, and air added, but the stupid light remains on. Any suggestions other than taking it back to the geniuses at the dealers.

Yes. Get the AEV Procal and set it to 0. That's what I plan on doing on my 10 Rubi when either the sensors malfunction and/or the batteries die. I am not paying for new sensors or battery replacements when I have never had a problem with low pressure due to not checking my tires on a regular basis in any vehicle that I have ever owned. A bit of old school works. Check your tire pressure and fluid levels on a regular basis and you'll never have a problem.
Does it remain on solid or does it blink first then remain on? If the latter, you have a defective sensor. If it just stays on, first verify that the psi on all 4 tires matches the label on the edge of your door. If the psi is correct, then just check driving. It could take up to 20 minutes of continuous driving or as much as 50 miles to reset.
Don't forget to check the spare also.

Or just ignore it. It's there as a CYA primarily for the vehicle manufacturer and to a degree the tire manufacturer. They are not set for a single specific tire pressure but for a range which has been determined to best help avoid a blow out or roll over. They are not there for the convenience of the driver and are not that accurate.

The computer does not read the spare.
My tire pressure light on my '10 JKU blinks & then stays on but goes off a little later while driving. Or it just comes on, stays on until I park it & then when I start up again, it isn't on. Bad sensor?
And if it is a bad sensor, any way to find out which tire the bad one is on?

This is true.....My spare was flat for a while and no light. I wonder why it don't read it? Out of range?

It has to be mounted and rolling at least 15 mph for it to synch with the computer.

Probably not. Make sure you air it up to what the placard on the door jamb indicates, given you have stock tires. Get a quality gauge. It sounds like it's tripping cold and when the tire(s) heat up the pressure increases and the tpms light goes out. Your pressure is probably on the edge cold.
I will double check the pressure.....I just bought it last week & of course the light wasn't coming on during test driving.
