Does anyone know how to get rid of the symbol on your dash? My tires are filled up but it won't go away

It's a 2012

What are they filled up to?

Double check them with another tire pressure gauge. I had one that told me they were at 35psi but when I checked with a better quality gauge, they read 26.

It will turn off at 37psi. I didn't like having my tires that hard so I bought a procal and changed the pressure where the light comes on.

Seeing as how it is a CYA device for the manufacturers and not an accurate measurement for the convenience of the driver I don't even pay attention to it any more and just check my TP the old fashioned way.

Any issues with the procal? My JK seems to ride best at 30lb

The only issue with the procal was finding one locally. 4WParts doesn't carry them anymore 'cuz they make their own now, but it has 25% of the functionality. Desert Rat overnighted one from Tucson for me, it really is a good product.

Mine are at 32, hope they don't start exploding like those firestones.

I noticed the bigger tires are always running lower pressure. Have you or anyone else heard of stock sizes getting away with lower pressure without shredding the tires. I am talking a round trip from the chicago area to Florida on 30lb.

I have to check into the procal

Do a search for the chalk test, I just use dirt. Basically you just wanna make sure the entire width of the tire is making contact with the road, this would be optimal. If this is how you decide what pressure to run it won't shred the tires, especially if they are goodyears.

The pro cal was worth every penny.
