Just wondering if anyone else has run into the issue of chain parts stores, autozone, advance, pepboys..etc not having the correct length lower radiator hose and in some cases the top as well? I have been to all of these and the part they have listed is about 6-7" shorter than I need. I finally went and ordered one at the dealer which I am hoping is correct. This is for the 4.0L.

At least yours carry lower radiator hoses! Finding one for a 2.5L in town is a PITA other than the stealer.

yep, those are the chinese parts they carry....much shorter.

we ran into the same problem...bend was correct, just too long...hack saw worked great

Hi all! First post here. Just returned to the jeep world this year! I am having a similar problem with the lower radiator hose. Did the dealer say that there was a difference in the cooling systems causing diferent hose lengths? I am looking at aftermarket silicone hoses. Is there some diference in the cooling system that I need to explain to them? Thanks!

HI 4jeepn! I whent to my local dealer today and he said something about my ac getting fliped onto the driverside made my hose longer?Hose on my jeep routs up and over the ac compressor? He said it was a factory thing but could not find the right hose. Is there a chance that you have the part # of the hose you got. I've been working on this for about three weeks and am no closer to an answer than when i started!
