I'm a self-proclaimed non-direction following do-it-yourselfer. Not to mention average when it comes to working on things. I did read the instructions a few times over as well but must have disregarded the part about just sliding the filler plate back versus taking it off. It just made it easier to access the fog light harnesses.
Getting the 8 bolts that attach the bumper to the frame were a pain, especially 4 that are hard to get to. Outside of that it was fairly easy and the second time I did in less than 30 minutes.
I'll take some pictures tomorrow as I just got the truck washed.
Needless to say I am really happy with how the hoop looks. Adds a mean look to the front end without having to spend a ton on a new bumper.
The bumper removal will be easier now that you have practice for when you do the winch install...
Congrats on the hoop. It is awesome! Have a pic to share?
