I didn't see the Warrior bumpers in the thread so here is the Warrior 596.
It was modified for the bottom air dam to fit (it is modified in the stock photos for the product on most sites the same way)
This one was repainted to match my RS-E rear. The original paint did not have the same texture and matched the sheen on the fenders more.
How do you like this bumper? (Warrior 596). I love the simple look.

It was great, came through some serious abuse at Uwharrie looking brand new.
I changed it out when I ripped the fenders out and replaced them because the fullwidth didn't look right with the smaller fenders.
I really liked the simple look too.

Thinking about selling my Poison Spyder Brawler Lite and buying a full width ARB deluxe bumper. I dont plan on getting a winch and the stubby bumper just looks out of place with my stock painted fenders. I like the fenders so I feel the best option may just be to go with a full width ARB that blends into the fenders. Am I crazy?

Rugged Ridge launched a new front bumper called the Venator, but they state its only for the JL and JT.

As some of Rugged Ridge other bumpers (like the HD) fits both the JK and JL, I'm curious what mods is needed to get the Venator to fit a JK

Anyone done this ? Any views ?

Help with dropping winch into bumper

I bought the Jeep used and it came with this bumper, I added the winch and fogs. I don't love the bumper but it works.

I like how the bumper is paint matched, one of the reasons I bought the Jeep. I am ok with the actual contours of the bumper...I don't love it but it works and I don't want to spend money on a new one. (I would love to have an paint matched aluminum stubby bumper with fog holes and bull guard, if funds were endless)

Has anyone cut a hole in the bumper to drop a winch down in the bumper?
That is what I want to do. I would like the bumper a lot more if the winch was not showing.

I was thinking cut out the top of the bumper where it is sitting currently. Then weld that metal to the bottom of the bumper to use as a plate, and add some reinforcements to the side interiors. Is there a thread where someone has done this, what are your thoughts.

Buying a new bumper is NOT in the near future.

can anyone ID this bumper?
That looks very similar to the Barricade Trail Force HD Full Width bumper from Extreme Terrain/EAG bumper on Amazon (They are the same bumper sold under different names). The EAG version is only $316 on Amazon right now. I have one. It's a decent bumper for the money, but definitely prone to rusting. Just keep some bedliner spray to touch it up.

looks like a barricade bumper from extremeterrain.com

check this out

I've read a lot of review about their bumpers, and while the price is attractive, they seem to have alot of issues with rust and bad fitment
Perfect, I sold it and the Bestop rear bumper on Thursday LOL.
