So I'm having an ongoing issue when my engine meets water, it starts to misfire and shuts off if I give it too much gas and it will turn back on in about thirty minutes. I've sealed all intake and exhaust leaks using air and a spray bottle ive also put water resistant gel around my sparkplugs. I'm getting codes p300 and p206 can anyone help has anyone else ran into this issue i have a 4.0 i6

P0206 is listed as "Cylinder 4 Injector Circuit Malfunction ". Maybe the injector connectors are letting water in and shorting out... The seals are old. The more times they get messed with, the more chance there is for the old seals to fail. Possibly bad connections in the connectors or damaged wires in the harness.

Good luck! Hope you find a cheap, easy and quick fix.

Thanks tzukows it ended up being the tps sensor gasket, it wasn't sealing up enough to keep water out, took it thru a torture test and finally passed
