I purchased a new 2013 Jeep JK 2 door from a local dealer here in Maine. I was shown the Jeep, which had already been set up with a 2" Rancho Sport Lift, Good Year Wrangler tires, Mopar 5 hole black matte rims, nerf bars and different grill. I obviously paid more for this jeep. I have had one issue after another since the purchase 7 months ago. Now it appears as though some corrossion is showing through the finish on the rims. I am now told that Mopar has no warranty for performance parts. I purchased the Jeep already set up by the dealer and was informed everything would be covered by the vehicles expressed warranty. Apparently that is not so. I need help. These rims WILL be replaced.

Sorry for the late response as I did not see this thread.

We are not owned or operated by Mopar and in no way do we represent them. We are an individual dealership operating an online store. Without knowing all of the disclaimers at the time of sale I would usually agree that being the equipment was installed at the time of sale there should at least be a 12-month warranty on the items.

Have you tried contacting Chrysler customer service about the issue?

I have not contacted Mopar Customer Service. The Jeep was setup before I even looked it. I felt as though the Vehicles Warranty should cover it, but I was told there was no warranty on Mopar Performance Parts. All 5 wheels were taken to a local shop, cleaned up, and re-powder coated. They look great and are probably better than new ones.

Contacting Chrysler customer service can't hurt but I do know for a fact Mopar Performance Part numbers do not carry any warranty. If you were not told this at the time of sale then the dealer is at fault.
