I've never cooperated with an MP, but I'll give it a shot...
I didn't hard mount my jerry cans because I use them for too many things. I have mounts in the back of my Jeep that I strap the jerry cans to. Yes, they're inside the Jeep, but the only time I run a top on my Jeep is in the winter, otherwise I'm running a safari top. No problem with fumes that way. I don't carry them inside my Jeep when my hardtop is on. Around here, unless they're locked to your vehicle and spouts locked, they'll get stolen or the gas will get siphoned.
I also have the Or-Fab Tire/Can carrier.... A bitch to put on, but I love it !!
Sorry I don't have a camera that works (3 of em !!) so no pics but there are lots of pics on the Or-Fab site or You Tube...Or Q-tec.
Last I checked Quadratec has em in stock..
I don't pour out of my cans...Those old GI cans are hard to pour out of, gotta turn em up side down... I use Syphon hose and leave the damned cans in the carrier...
I like my carrier and it's well made in AMERICA.... "BH"
