I want to lift my jeep 2 inches and out 33 inch tires on it. Does anyone know how bad the gas milage is affected? I get 16 city 21 highway right now. If it gets a lot worse I cant afford to put these tires on my jeep.

I just lifted my Jeep 3", put on 285/70 R17 (33s) and my Gas Mileage has plummeted. I am in the middle of doing some averages, but I'd guess I was in the 12-15 mpg range highway.

Have to say it depends. It depends on gearing, if you have an auto or manual, if you have a 2dr or 4dr, if you use a programmer to correct, where and how you drive, and it really depends on how heavy, how aggressive and how wide the new tire/wheel combo is.
I am running big heavy 295/79R18 34x11.50 (measure 33.25 from ground) Cooper Discoverer ST MAXX on my 2013 3dr with 3.73 ratio and auto with a flashcal speedo/trans programmer and I went from 16.5 to about 14.5 average. As they say YMMV
