Hello I just moved to CO about a two weeks ago from Virginia and have seen a dramatic increase in MPG in my jeep and seems to have more power also. My jeep went from 15 - 16 MPG hwy with a 275 - 300 mi range in VA to a consistent 19 -20 MPG here in CO 375 almost 400 mi range on 19 gal tank.
My question is what caused such a dramatic increase in MPG no work has been done. A friend said it could be a combination of altitude the 85 octane perhaps because the air here is less dense and there is less wind resistance. I don't believe any of those.
I'm not complaining just want to figure out what the heck caused it. Anyone ever experience this?
