I just did my first plasti dip job. fender flares and eyelids. I think it looks great. having never done this before, I have a few questions. will it hold up in a car wash? how can I do that rubberized look more permanent, without a great amount of texture? any help appreciated.

I used rustoleum bedliner on my grill, bumpers and eyelids. It has held up great through car washes, trees, and mudding. My friend used plastidip and he constantly has to touch his up. Looks good though!!

rustolium bedliner? hmm im presuming its available at conquest Napa AutoZone etc those kinda places. problem by the paint? did it leave a gritty texture? I have a textured front bumper, and its ok, but I'd rather that rubberized look. I prefer it anyway.

Mine has a smooth look but if u touch it, it does have a gritty feel. But id rather have it gritty to help grip when im standing on my bumper.
