MSD makes great products but they won't help a TJ's ignition system in the least. Such ignitions help older ignitions a lot but the TJ's is already so good so it can meet the fed smog requirements that the MSD won't produce any noticeable results.
I've found that if you buy all of the gimmick products then you would probably see some decent gains in performance. But then you've probably spent 2000 bucks or so to get 20 more hp out of your engine. That said I do run the AEM Intake and TB Spacer, but only because I got it for free. I say save your money and re-gear it if you want more power at the tires.
