My 1 Month old Wrangler MTR with Kevlar Tire Failed

I just wanted to give everyone my opinion on some tires. I bought a set of 5 Goodyear Wrangler MTR Kevlar Tires 35" and 15" rims from Discount Tire Direct and not even a month into it I have a nice hole in the INSIDE side wall. I was in some mud but nothing very rocky or full of debris. I know it happens and nobody can control it but I really assumed since my stock Rubi tires never had problems on this exact same path I'd be ok. Now I have a ruined tire :(. Not really impressed with the side wall strength of these tires. Its not a nail or sharp object it looks like it just pushed a big hole in. Almost like a stick...

It's really just back luck IMO. There's no way to know how sharp the object was. And you don't know how the terrain changed from the last time you went through it.

Saying your tire failed is incorrect IMO. You were off-roading and your tire now has a hole in it. Sucks to hear but it happens while off-roading. Just my .02.
Obviously the tire failed... Obviously it could have been a pocket knife someone threw in a mud hole for all I know. Except for the fact its not a cut or sharp object its actually a tear in the side wall. So be it, either way DTD took great care of me so I have to give them a BIG thumbs up!
I'm on my fifth set of MTRs with not even as much as a nail hole. Best tire out there, IMO.
