The driveshaft engages but when i was in snow and i pinned it they didnt spin. So can someone tell me what im dealing with i know theres something about pressure and what not.

You may have a disconnected your vacuum from the front axle, that or there's a leak somewhere in your lines or system. On the passenger side of the front axle there is a disk that should have two vac lines connected to it. Make sure the lines are connected and they aren't damaged.

Did the light come on?
You need to have someone watch BOTH wheels to make sure neither spin. A lot of times in low traction surfaces, the passenger side spins and the drives side diffs out

To overcome this press on both the gas and the brake. Add resistance to the side with no traction.
