good stuff man. I'm trying to get my pictures of a bunch of stuff today, but my phone is not cooperating. I got a lot done today. I'd love to see your 350. Oh dude, I made my glovebox into a locking one, it's a pretty cool project, takes about an hour and costs like 7 bucks. i'll put it up when my pictures come through.

The 350 isnt pretty or anything but its a chevy 350 that was purring like a lion before we took it out of the 87 suburban I dont know if I want to make it look good and dress it up or just throw it in the jeep and run it yet. And I would love to see how you made your glovebox into a locking one that would be pretty handy.

yeah man just waiting for the pictures to come in. I made it up, and it came out pretty good. They glovebox was messed up already, broken off it's holding bracket, and I figured I might as well toy with it.

Thanks guys I did end up doing the gas tank skid, the shackles, and the rear of the frame. I'll end up redoing the rear of the frame when I pick up some POR-15 for the frame.

Nice paint job. Excuse me, I'm still a newb, but what is the part you painted called exactly? Mine is behind my bumper and starting to rust a little. I was just wondering if I could do anything about it and it looks like your thread has enlightened me.
Thanks!

Thanks man and I took a look at that already thats a sweet idea. I'd probably paint the lock black though just to make it look like it came with it from the factory. By the way the tail lights are a cheap mod cost me 35 bucks for the parts. Taillights, Grommet fittings, Three prong plugs. The 4.5 inch holesaw was expensive though at 46 bucks.

Thanks man I opted not to get the led ones but to go incandesant. I think its a little more oldschool and I didnt have to worry about the flasher relay either. The parts are cheap its the 4.5 inch holesaw that was expensive and the worst part is im probably never going to use it again.
