My Quick Fix for lost brake fluid cap

9571 Views 8 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  KBR97
Ok, I wanted to get my jeep out today and was running around the house for a temporary fix for losing my brake fluid reservoir cap..... Guess next time I should make sure I put it back on before hitting the trails - Thankfully, I didn't really lose much fluid and I don't think air got in the lines....

So I am digging through the house.... AHHHHH A Condom! Perfect! Of course I am gonna get another cap from the dealer tomorrow... but it will do for a day.

Here's the pic....

Great idea! It's a good thing that you and the brake reservoir both happen to require the same extra-small size. :D
