Got distracted from cleaning up leaves today and decided it was a good day for jeep pics. Still deciding if I want to black out the grill. Bought some plastidip so hopefully this stuff comes off as easy as they say if I decide I really dont like it

I did this to my tow mirrors on my last truck and it is REALLY easy to peel off. Especially with something like a grill that you can remove and peel. Just make sure you put a few good layers down thin and one at a time at the intervals described on the can (the thicker it is, the easier it will be to peel later). Definitely worth the $20 in rattle cans if you just want to test the look out.

Did you plastidip your hinges?
No. I did those a few months ago with bed liner. Hit em with a sander and put about 10 coats of the rustoleum spray on em. Held up to power washing all summer, see what happens this winter.

Leave the grille white and replace the chrome Jeep emblem on the grille with a matte black one; you’ll love how it looks.

Just make sure you get an original Mopar emblem (part number 68185492AB) and not one of those that are 2 for $10 on Amazon; they are total cr*p.

Good luck.

Nice looking jeep. I'd be curious to see your hinges up close.

Did you do the whole body-side piece? I'm thinking about doing this. I've touched up rock chips on the leading edge of my hinges so many times it's starting to look like the surface of the moon, and as soon as you leave it for any period of time that little bit of rust starts, annoying!

And there's no way I'd rake all those leaves...

Best I have. Jeep is filthy and covered in mud and salt right now but I can snap a few up close for you if ya want the next time I wash it
