Just curious if this qualifies as running naked, or if having tube doors is like going to a strip club and all the strippers are wearing G-Strings. 馃ぃ馃ぃ馃ぃ Lets see that Jeep porn.

Speaking of鈥 when the only strip club here in town reopened post Covid, I was invited to go. A friend of ours was dating the guy who financed the club. We arrive, VIP greeting from ALL of the girls. Odd thing was, fully nude, with latex gloves and surgical masks. Really, really, weird. You could ahve your coochie out for the world to see, but dont breath on anyone or jerk them off without a hand condom?

I personally can鈥檛 stand half doors. I don鈥檛 clown anyone running them, but they seem a bit pointless.

This is the first year mine has spent so much time correctly naked. We came back from a cross country trip like this:

And because it鈥檚 summer, I had to immediately convert it back to this when we got back:

And I love how much of an erector set it is because this will eventually be coming鈥

Not pointless, as they do help contain to a certain extent. Personally, I like no doors, but with the wife and kids, it gives them a sense of security (even though we know they don't do much in that regard. To be honest though, I've grown to like them cuz it gives me an arm rest, and a more comfortable position to put my foot vs the awkward position you have to sit in to use pegs on the hinge. Not to mention being able to have the full mirrors mounted in the right location vs the crappy flimsy ones or a weird mount on the pillar.

Yep, hard to argue with you on all points. I won鈥檛 take the kids on anything but very local drives with nothing but belts holding them in, so you make total sense there. I鈥檝e been lucky with my doors off mirrors, but do accept they are not exactly perfect, so again I totally agree.

As such, I鈥檒l shut up. :)

I'd like some body-matched half doors, but that's not likely to happen and tube doors aren't really on my radar for what they cost, so I go full naked when the weather cooperates

I love my tube doors. I only paid 200.00 for them brand new on FB Marketplace and considering half doors are way out there cost wise, it was a no brainer. Plus I really like the fact that it provides a arm rest. Hanging my feet out the door never made me comfortable and the fact that I drive a stick, pegs just don't work.
