I like the ones on ebay but they dont go up very high on the side. When i bought my jeep someone had already installed and removed some rock sliders so i have some holes in the side that the ebay ones couldnt cover up.

I looked at those Nate rock rails, they would be a great deal if you didnt have to add another $130 to get the configuration pictured.

The ebay ones aren't quite what I'm looking for. I need something that will serve as a step too. Nate said his stick out 5" from the side to the outer edge of the tube. but I will confirm the price prior to ordering. thanks

And confirm delivery date. I have heard they make a fine product but some have said it took months to get them.

It looks like they charge extra for the skid underneath and the side steps. Make sure you get what you want. Check this guy out, Jeep Wrangler TJ LJ 97-06 HD ROCK RAILS rocker guards - eBay (item 120501537646 end time Dec-28-10 14:57:32 PST)

I am going to be buying these.
x2.... He makes a nice looking product, and is a member on another forum I belong to... Seems like an upstanding type guy... :) I'll get his when that day comes... Unless Nalin Manufacturing comes up with some first... :)

Hello all. :wavey: I had to register to reply to this thread.

I have this front bumper from Nates Nates4x4 - Model 2 Front Winch Bumper

I picked up my bumper at his shop in Midland. It is a small shop, in an industrial complex with a CNC Plasma cutter, welder and a few other tools. He cuts the flat stock, then takes it to another shop for bending, then welds it up himself. Another source for tube bending, another source for punch pressed parts like the D-ring tabs. He has to rely on other sources which is why it might take a while to get somthing from him. Considering all that goes into his proucts, they are all made in USA, I'd buy from him again.

He does GREAT work, his welds are like jewelry. I found him on Craigs list. His adds are a little tricky. You think your getting all the delux stuff for 150.00. Everything is an add on, and bare steel.

Those rocker guards are heavy duty. You will be drilling holes through your tub to bolt them on. Also the bottom of the step is level with the bottom of the rocker.

I'd say everything he builds is rock proof!

I'm surprised to see his adds back up on Craigs list. Shortly after I bought my bumper from him, I got ahold of him for more stuff, and his shop had burned down. He was still figuring out what was lost and what was still good, and weather or not he was going to stay in buisness. I hope everything worked out for him to stay working.

Thanks for the reply Dust Devil, a vote of reasurance is always good. I'm still waiting on Nate's reply as for the total cost, but I'm sure it will still be a decent price for the product. I hadn't noticed the step location at first, 'till you mentioned it. but that's actually better for me, than higher on the tub.
