I have all the factory speakers and head unit. I want a sub for some bass. And want it all around louder for when I have the top off. What all should I do and what set up should I get. And head unit preferences? Thanks

Countless options - without giving us an idea of budget, requirements etc it's impossible to make suggestions worth a damn, all you'll get is lists of what other people have done based on their budgets and requirements.

What kind of money do you want to spend, and what sort of music do you generally listen to? What features and functionality do you need? How much work are you willing to do yourself?

Not to sound like a jerk but....

There are countless messages on this forum about what others have done. Do a search and you will be surprised on how many times we have tried to answer this one.

Well I am looking into buying a pioneer avh-x5500 head unit. But I want to replace all o the speakers. And get a sub box mounted in the back now I have seen many different kinds is there one that is more effective. I don't want to take up my whole trunk. I'm looking to spend like 500 on the speakers. But the sub and amp I'm not sure. I know that could prob cost alot. And I will do all of the work.

Not a big fan of the pioneer radios. There newer OS are very buggy. They don't tend to put out alot of firmware updates to address these issues on their OS. Im a big fan of Kenwood as they have Garmin Nav (which you can load in a speed light /red light data base into it). Also you can make a custom Jeep boot up logo and keep the same interior light color scheme on the radio. On top of that you get every feature you could ever ask for. Look at the DNX690HD, DNX890HD, or the DNN990HD (Which has built in WIFI)

Go Focal Speakers and JL XD or HD 5 channel amp and the JL Audio 13tw5 steath box. Should make for a great system. We do that scheme all the time.
