As you may have guessed, yes this is the screw for the top storage tray on the dash of the JK. It looks like it's even the same screw that holds the instrument cluster to the dash.

I've gone to the dealership parts department and they cant find this screw by searching for either dash screw or instrument cluster screw in their computer. I've looked over the forum and the Mopar parts site myself without any luck. I've also taken one of the similar screws to both Lowes and Home Depot but that didn't work either. My Google-fu is also weak.

Hoping to tap into the hive mind here and get a part # or a source to get a replacement from. I understand its a 7mm hex head self-tapping screw but nobody seems to have this kind of screw.

Thanks in advance

I picked up a few from Ace Hardware not too long ago. The head has a bit larger "washer" but otherwise identical.

Would you mind sharing a part number or specs on it? Mines missing and it’s killing my ocd
I am not sure of specs. If you take another out and take it with you you can match it up. Of possibly Google that part number shown above. Many of the online Mopar parts sellers show specs for the bolts tec.
