it starts fine will run for about 15 miles and then spits and sputters and dies and wont crank back up till 20 or 30 mins has passed I really dont know what to even look for at this point thanks for any help you can give me
Based off this description it sounds to me like a heat related issue. The failing component gets to a certain temperature after a certain amount of engine run time then fails, cools down over 20-30 minutes and starts working again. I'd be suspect of cam & crank sensors first, specifically the crank sensor. Then other possible suspects might be fuel pump or coil but it is less common for them to fail in this manner. Could possibly be the PCM also or some sort of wiring issue also.
