I am currently on the other side of the country for work. My girlfriend has my 2012 Jeep Wrangler 6 spd. She was driving it and was trying to accelerate and shift into sixth gear. When she did so the RPM's maxed out and wouldn't go down when she let off the accelerator. She had to turn the jeep off and try again. Later on the same thing happened with trying to go into the sixth gear. Trying to figure this problem out on the other side of the country is frustrating. If you have any thoughts...reasonable answer please. Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Sounds scary. Try to avoid 6th gear until you get to the dealer. That's a safety issue that should be dealt with asap. Good luck

Preciate it, yeah I have it getting a diagnostic test done near the house. Trying to get it taken care of now so when I finally get back home next month I can have the joy of driving her again.
