It looks clean, although the chrome and stickers would have to go. If it runs excellent, it's worth that much money. But I mean excellent and with complete service records.
'01 4x4 Cherokees around here book for about $2k, but are FLYING off dealer lots at over $11-grand! Yes, ...eleven grand. Price depends on demand. So many old Jeeps were destroyed during Obama's "Cash for Clunkers" program that demand is still artificially inflated and prices remain firm.
My position is that if you find an old Jeep you really like and is in excellent shape, buy it. It would not surprise me if the value of this one went up in the next 10 years.
