Hey guys,
I picked up a new 3 ton low profile jack from HF today and upon doing the first inspection I noticed on the bottom side that the welds were looking spotty. I wasn't able to see it in store because the display model was zip tied to the shelf rack and couldn't see underneath.

Can anyone confirm if this is normal? I can't tell if these are load bearing welds, since they may just be cross members. If this is a manufacturing flaw then I wouldn't hesitate to bring it back. Thanks!

The welds are similar on both sides. Looks like a typical low cost Chinesse floor jack to me.

Jack up your Jeep, put good jack stands underneath it, and have fun. You won't have any issues doing that.

Looks normal. The first photo is just beads. I'm assuming it's NOT load bearing and they tried to save on materials by running a few beads instead of one long bead.
