Posting this for my mechanic buddy who is working on my car:

ordered a new fuel pump from the dealer. Wires are coded differently. Dealer says Chrysler changed suppliers and there are no more with the old style wire pig tails.

Mechanic sorted it out and hooked it up. Car won't start. pump runs...

anybody seen these new pumps before?

He may have it fixed before I even write this up, but I am curious to know if the jeep dealer is on crack or what...

problem was with a crimped fuel line.

I would still like to know about the wiring harness if anyone has come accross one yet...
