I used to have an XJ with a 4.0L and a common swap on those were the neon or ford 5.0 injectors. I was wondering why it doesn't seem like anyone is doing that in the tj wrangler. Any one have any info?

Because even when aftermarket injectors are capable of spraying/providing a higher volume of fuel, the ECM (engine computer) won't allow it. The ECM wants a very precise air/fuel mixture & once it has it, it shuts the injector off. So if the fuel injector sprays more fuel, the computer will just shut it off sooner (shorten the pulse time) so the combustion chamber sees the same amount of fuel as before.
