The 2016 JKU that I purchased last month from my dealer on Cape Cod was just about everything I had ever wanted in a Wrangler: 2.5" lift, 18" wheels, 34" tires and a nice LED package. After some minor mods over the past four weeks (black "Jeep" hood badge, tail light cages, fuel cover, 13" stubby antenna, billet grill inserts), I decided to swap out the perfectly decent cloth seats for leather Katzkins. I opted for black with ivory "wing" accents. To my eyes (and those of everyone else I consulted before and after), the Katzkin "Ivory" was a perfect match for my Mojave Sand. "Biscuit" was a close second matching to Mojave.

What do you think?

Looks great, and what timing, we just dropped ours off tonight to get Katzkinized and a bunch of other goodies. I think I'm going to like it even more after seeing yous. Thanks for sharing.

Our Sahara came with the black Katzkin, and it's been awesome; very easy to keep clean, too! :)

Love Katzkin leather. Had it installed at the end of last summer.

Just got my Silver Wrankler JK 2 door back from the Katzkin installer yesterday. I went with the Black wrap with Gray insert and Jeep logo and love it. So glad I did it. I would post pictures from my iPhone but I have no idea how to do it.

Wow, that looks terrific! Looks factory.

I know this post is about the seats, but have any exterior pics of the Jeep? I'd like to see your exterior mods too :D

Here you go Mike! I added the black hood badge, billet grill inserts and stubby antenna.

Here's a better pic showing how spot on the Ivory color Katzkin is!

Just got mine done last month but I'm boring and chose black with grey stitching. Very comfortable and they fixed my busted up foam on the driver and passenger side as well. Sorry but my camera sucks.

I like the all black look, and have very similar seats as my DD 2015 Honda Pilot.

I agree on the comfort! So glad I made the swap. My mother-in-law (who buys a new performance sedan every few years) had my back on this one, and made the case to my wife ("Dear, when it comes to cars, is simply not fulfilling to go half-way in!"). I chose not to read to deeply into her words, but definitely appreciated the support.

Those look so good with the Mojave, hate to ask but what's the approximate cost for front and rear? Do you have to get it done at a shop?

Total cost was around $1,350. I found a local installer on the Katzkin website (shout out to Luxury Auto Leather in Hyannis, MA Luxury Auto Accessories) and worked directly with them to pick a design, colors and other options.

Additional design options and colors were available through the shop (as shown here https://goo.gl/images/WAaYx1) than were offered on the Katzkin website. The seats took about a week for delivery and they scheduled me for installation the following week. I was SHOCKED at how quickly and affordably they were able to produce and install CUSTOM leather seats, and at the quality of the fit! Truly looks factory, and perfectly matched to my Mojave sand.

For the color match, I do recommend working directly with a local installer who will have a complete color wheel of leather swatches to put up against your exterior and interior in daylight. If I had done this online (assuming I was working from the linked chart above), I would have thought the "vanilla" or "alabaster" would have been the closest match to Mojave. As it turned out, those were significantly different when placed up against my exterior. "Ivory" and "biscuit" were the closest, with Ivory spot on. I have a new found respect for designers!!
