A quick hello to the forum from a Jeep newbie! I just ordered a new 2015 Wrangler last week and am very excited to become a part of the Jeep community. It is going to be a long 8 weeks to wait but hopefully cooler weather will be close at hand. In the meantime I hope to learn a lot of tips and tricks from some of the veterans to Jeep life. Thanks for letting me in.

Welcome the the Jeep family. You will have a blast. Very good group of people and a fun hobby/obsession. There are lots of Jeep clubs in the area, and I would encourage you to explore some of those, meet some people and soak up some knowledge. It's a great way to learn a bunch. Enjoy!

Where are you located at, if you don't mind telling us. Different clubs around the state for doing stuff with if you are interested in that kind of thing. Check on line for the jeep clubs here in this state.

Around here there is quit a few
1. Arkansas Jeep Owners Society-also on face book
2. Jeep Owners of Central Arkansas
3. Salted Dogs
and others.

Let us know what kind of stuff you are thinking about for your Jeep.

Congrats on the Jeep. Sadly mine gets way to much on road use living in Maumelle. But I finally took the doors off the front for the first time two weekends ago, and now I do not want to put them back on. For some reason I thought it would be difficult, man was a wrong. Hope you enjoy it!!

If you are not doing anything this Sat. The Arkansas Jeep owners Society is having a club run down here at Superlift. You are welcome to join them, not sure if I will be there or not at this time. They meet at 8:00 sharp at Steve Landers there on 430 and leave from there as a group. They are on FaceBook also.

Thanks for all the kind words. I live in the southwest corner of the state in Nashville.

I also must update, I gave up the wait and bought a new '14 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara that was loaded and got a smoking deal. The worst part is that it is black which, like my sportscar, black is not a color but an occupation!
My dealer said he has to sell whatever comes in so the fact that I had a '15 ordered was not a problem to him. At least it was all done through the same dealer!
I doubt mine will see much off road duty but just knowing I can take it off the beaten path is a comfort. Hopefully I will be able to get out and do some meet and greet at some of the clubs and functions around the state in the near future. Thanks. Jim
