Well after years of wanting one, I finally got one on Monday. She's in need of a little TLC and complete fluid change which I hope to do tonight if the weather holds out.

She's a 99' Wrangler Sport
She has a softop (almost new) and 1/2 doors.
A 4" Rough Country Lift w/Pro Comp 33s
BM Short Shift
Pace Setter Headers & Back Exhaust
Knock Block Front/Rear bumpers, and side rails <-- can't find info on them anywhere.

I currently only have photos on my phone but will post them up soon.

Welcome to the Forum! :wavey:

There is a post on this forum regarding driving without doors in PA. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but...

OK - I tried to search for it. The guy in PA, near Erie I beleive, got a ticket.

Perhaps some more PA fella's can chime in!

But anywho - welcome aboard!

Johnnie:

Yes, saw that post a few weeks ago. Looks like it depends on the officer. I've seen plenty of Jeep owners in my area drive without doors. But if worse comes to worse I have 1/2 doors. :) Thanks for the heads up and the welcome.

JK11:

I'll have to keep an eye out for your Jeep since I'm just south of you and go to Quakertown for my Tae Kwon Do classes. Probably have seen it driving around town before.

Nice rig, if the distance isn't too great and your eager enough me and at least one other jeep are going wheeling this weekend possible in Wharton or somewhere. People who went to Penndel recently got fined if that means anything to you.

Love the JK, plus not a beauty queen she loves to get dirty. :thumb:

@CarolinaBound: Thanks for the invite, need to go over her thoroughly before I take her offroad. I'd hate to be the one with the broken jeep. :D Where is the place that you are going? If I go OffRoading I would probably head up to Hazleton, my friend has a membership at 8 B's and I have quaded up there with him so I'd check out some of the trails with the jeep. That way don't have to worry about the Po Po. :whistling:

Check this out...

Charity event in Wharton, NJ... I'm trying to make it:dance:

Some of you may have heard of Josie. She received a heart transplant not that long ago, and while she continues to fight the good fight, the medical bills keep on piling up. Our idea is to take a crack at some of those medical bills, and have some fun while we are at it.

We’re hosting a “scavenger hunt” in the Wharton Woods, NJ on Saturday October 27, 2012. All street legal Jeeps are welcome to participate. Pre-registration is now available by clicking on the following link and sending a PM to Dancin' Dan on JKO. Let me know you would like to Camp and Wheel, or just Wheel the day of the event.

Camping and Wheeling ($50) gets you
· a lovely spot at the Batona Campsite in the Wharton State Forest,
· registration for 1 for the scavenger hunt, see prizes below,
· an official, one of a kind commemorative, collector’s edition Jeepin’ for Josie t-shirt,
· and dinner at the world famous Pic a Lilli Inn in Shamong, NJ
- Wings, Salad, Pulled Pork sandwiches.
- Cold libations are on you, it’s a fund raiser

Not into camping, no worries. Take the Wheeling only ($40) package.

Can’t make the event, but would like to do something? How about a tshirt, or a decal?

JK11: Start a new post regarding Jeeping for Josie. Just read her story and I not going to lie...I got something in my eyes! Both of them, same time. OK - I am going to lie! I want as many people here to see this!

I am in Cleveland so I cannot make it. I do think that I will look good wearing that shirt around here though! OK - I won't look good, but the shirt will!

If the story doesn't move you, how can you not love this pic!?!

Thanks! I posted this for another friend of mine. He asked me to get the word out for him and I thought that it was a great cause and should be a fun event. So, I am asking everyone to re-post to spread the word out. I posted it on FB as well (although I only have 3 jeep friends on FB and the rest of my friends are in TX). Anyway.. spread the word please!

I will see if I can find out for you... I'll get back to you. I do believe that all of the info + a contact person (who has tons more info than me) is listed on their website... But... I'll ask too!
Thanks!

I was actually going to ask for permission to post that on the Facebooks! Consider it done this evening. I will get in touch with your pal about the t-shirt as well.

Need to limp my Jeep over to my Uncle's for a quick weld on the steering colum shaft support bracket thingy that is in the engine bay.

Be back laters : )
