I have been around the off road vehicles. However, I wanted to build my own and have started with my jeep. I have metal cloak fenders and am still adding equipment. However, I have a TJ with front dana 30 and rear 44. If I am limited to a few off road miles per week or even month, Should I upgrade my front? I plan on going with a locker in the rear.

Your front 30 will hold up fine to a tire as big as 35's. Chromoly shafts will add some extra strength and are a good idea if you end up locking the front. I personally run 35s on a stock d30 and about 50/50 off-road/on-road miles with zero issues
