I recently bought a 2000 TJ Sport that had LT285/75R-16 tires on it. I would like to lift it 2-3 inches max. I has 163,000 miles on it, so it could prob use some new springs and shocks. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I should have also added that most of my off road driving is on dirt/gravel forest roads with an occasional easy trail. Not planning any rock climbing.

With my TJ I ran the BDS 2" suspension lift. Very nice ride and simple set up. With no add ons, it lifted my TJ over 2.5".

There is a vendor on here with a sale on that lift now!

My sig pic shows that lift with 32" tires.

That kit waterdog suggested is exactly what I have. It's awesome. At 2 inches of suspension lift you won't need an SYE. At 3 inches of suspension lift you may need a SYE

Steeljag, did you get bumpstop extensions and an adjustable rear trackbar when you did the BDS lift?
