hey everyone hope ya can help i just bought 97 WRANGLER went to fill the tank and it only goes to less than full .the other ? is my defrost doesnt blow out the top vent but still blows out the small vents i hear a flap inside the heater box moving when i first take off maybe something unhooked thanx tbone

About the gas tank - does it have any large dents in it? If so that might be the issue. If thats not the problem, then it might be a bad sending unit. Unfortunately they are inside the gas tank and can cost a pretty penny.

I had a similar problem with my defrost. Mine wouldn't switch between the different levels, so all I had was defrost. Took it to the dealership and had a vaccum issue. This might not be the issue your having but its a start..
