Saw an article today from wxyz.com (abc Detroit) that said the NHTSA is starting an investigation into the bad weld complaints on the 2018-2019 Jeep Wranglers. Heres the article url:

I haven't purchased a JL yet (still have the 2012 2-door thats running great) but I would like to get a 4-door in a year or two so I try to keep up on what's happening in the JL world.

I think they’ll pass the welds off as satisfactory. It will be interesting to see a conclusion

Money will change hands, swept under the rug. Much like the MASSIVE corruption in US gov......nothing is surprising or shocking anymore.

I wouldn’t be so sure FCA will come scoff free from this. FCA has been criminally charged, found guilty, fined and executives jailed for serious misdeeds in recent months.
