No clutch pressure

So I replaced the clutch plate, pressure plate and throw out bearing today, but when I was moving the slave cylinder out of the ways he tip came off and some clutch fluid (brake fluid) came out. I replaced the tip and all seemed fine. After reinstalling everything, I wanted to see if everything worked as hoped, and there was basically no pressure behind the clutch pedal. I had some brake fluid that I was going to use to fill up the master cylinder reservoir, but I couldn't seem to figure out how to open the reservoir to put more fluid in. Is there a special trick? Is there a way for me to refill and bleed the system? Thanks for any help.

To clarify, this is a 2004 wrangler
From what I understand the system is very difficult to bleed if I can be at all. The cap for the fluid can be stubborn sometimes but you just have to put a lot of power to take it off. If you did get air in the system though you might want to look at buying a pre bled kit. I think there around 100$. But it is normal to have very little resistance when the clutch is new. I did mine a few months back and had basically no resistance for about the first 2 weeks then it started to have more and more resistance till I felt normal again. As long as it's functioning properly I would give it some time to break in
It's actually not that bad to bleed... It is an external slave. As you allready know. There is a small Allen screw in the side of the slave. That is your bleeder. You bleed it the same as brakes. Fill your resivour ... Have someone pump up the clutch till it's firm. Crack the bleeder open while there foot is on the pedal..then close the bleeder quickly Repeat till your pedal is firm.
With the amount of resistance that I have on the clutch pedal, I'm pretty sure that the pressure plate is not being disengaged when I press down the clutch. Feels like the air is just getting compressed. So do I teist off the master cylinder reservoir, or should I pop it off with a flat head, or is there another trick?
How do I get the reservoir cap off?

if it's that stiff get a pipe wrench and lefty loosy
The only good way to bleed a Jeep clutch is to remove the slave cylinder from the bellhousing and pump the slave cylinder piston several times (usually takes 20-30) while someone keeps an eye on the fluid level (should be about half way) and air bubbles in the master cylinder. Once there is no more air bubbles, but only fluid, you're done. Factory Jeep slave cylinders do not have a bleed valve.

Oh, and don't forget to take the inner liner out of the master cylinder

+1

They are relatively easy to bleed...not sure where all the "impossible to bleed" comments come from.

Wear a leather glove and it's easier to push the rod in. Do it slowly though so you don't spit fluid up out of the master. Plus going slowly allows the helper to watch for the air bubbles. When you think you are done, push the rod another.5-10 times to be sure. Even a tiny little bubble causes problems.
So I was about to get the master reservoir top off. Filled it halfway with brake fluid and pushed the slave cylinder rod back and forth many times. Never could get pressure back into the clutch. I'm guessing that my slave is letting air into the system, so I'm going to replace the master and slave with a prebled system. Hopefully then all will be good
