I have a ‘16 Wrangler Blackbear. For the past couple of months the check engine light has been coming on periodically, especially in colder weather. I took it in for a diagnostics check, but it wasn’t pulling any codes. It has been off for several weeks and recently came back on. The only thing I notice is that the throttle is unresponsive if I get into the gas in the higher gears. It will completely lay over and won’t gain RPM at all. Feels like it’s dead. Once I back off it will be responsive when I ease back into it. I was initially worried it was a transmission issue because it feels like it won’t drop into gear, but the more I think about it the issue seems to be with something electrical within the throttle. I’ve seen posts on the power control module, do you think that’s it?

Anyone else experienced this?
