Noise/Vibration with 33 x 12 .5 tires

801 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Johnrmclean
I just put on a set of bigger tires and wheels on for the first time. 33 x 12.5 ..appears to be plenty of clearance .... I was running 30" with a 1 1/2 body lift no problem ..now I seem to have some kind of low noise/binding feeling just when I'm slowing to under a couple miles per hour ...... whats up with that??

What kind of tires did you get, are they new or used, what air pressures are you running??? Bigger tires will have more rolling resistance, especially true when it comes to meaty mud type tread patterns.
new...super swamper ..sts radial not ...a radical mud tread ...radial .. 26 lbs
You need to really check to see if there are any rubbing issues going to 33x12.5 with only a 1.5" BL. Be more adviseable to add a 2" coil spring lift along with the BL. Do you have a 4cyl or 6cyl?
