Hello an new Jeep Owner, stock 14 Sahara. For some reason I have a hankering to explore the area north of Alamo Lake. I know you can access it from the Wayside, State Park side, but have no desire to do a water crossing of the river. From looking at maps, it appears that I could get there off of I-40 at Yucca or from Highway 93 and the Burro Creek vicinity.
Since I'm a late in life driver I'm not into difficult trails.
Is this an area that can be explored Solo? Overnight trips?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I have only ever been on the south side of Alamo, in fact we camped there a few weeks back. I know 15 goes in from Yucca, doesn't look difficult at all... I want to get back out and explore the area where it crosses. That looks like where the fun is. ;)
