I was washing my joop the other day, and was cleaning up the tires with that wet black tire spray, I usually do the plastic bits in the rear well too.

After I washed it, I went mudding.

Some of the over spray from the tire cleaner got on to the frame and the front underside components. I let it sit muddy for about a week then washed it again.

That Tire stuff seems to protect and the repel mud on the underside and left all my black painted underside stuff perfectly clean after a quick rinse.

TL;DR (too long;didn't read)-Tire shine also makes the underside of your jeep look good.

Use something like mean green to clean under the jeep. I took a scrub brush to the underside of mine.

Its kind of like one of the ol' mud runner tricks...

You ever see large pump spray bottle in the pits at a mud bog? Guaranteed, its full of baby oil. They spray the bottom of the trucks before they run and everything rinses right off after the bog.
