Gonna do bypass this weekend .when it comes to adjusting rods on stepper motor Iam confused .I saw a video on you tube and gentleman said to adjust them out and measure 1/8 of an inch ,okay so where do you measure from ? Second read the bypass fix on here and gentleman said pull them all the way out and put stepper motor back on without pushing rods back in .A bit confusing anybody have a clue what you should do?

Its been years since I did a bypass but I think this is the easiest one to understand for the process. I used it years ago on a CJ and it worked perfectly.

I'm going to do mine, and I wondering the same thing. I just rebuilt my carb but I can not get it back on for another week or two. I did pull the rods all the way out!

According to the article this is for a 6 cylinder.

Swampy that's where it gets confusing in the article .are you backing them out of carb or out of stepper motor .And to the last poster yes it's for the inline 6 motor
