I installed a TeraFlex monster track bar today. After putting the track bar in and setting it up so the rear was centered under my Jeep my steering wheel was off center a bit. I had to run to the store before I centered the steering wheel. While driving to the store the traction control light kept coming on. You could feel a buzz when it would come on and a slight pull in the wheel. You could also hear the buzz just like the anti lock brake would do in my old car. When I got home I adjusted the drag link to center the steering wheel and took it for a ride. Everything is fine now.

It seems like the traction control must look at the position of the steering wheel in relation to the rotation of the wheels.

Is this right?

that is correct.

basically it sees if your abs sensors say you are going one way but your wheel says otherwise.

Thanks, I feel better knowing that's what was going on. I would have never thought the steering wheel being off center would have done that.
