I ordered the cargo top in mid December and it still hasn't came in. I called about 3 weeks ago and he told me my top would ship in 2 days and he'd email me when it did... Still no sign. It's starting to get warm here so I'm getting anxious to swap out my hard top.
I guess I mainly wanted to vent a little, but I'm curious if anyone else has ordered since about mid December and got their top in yet.
I've tried calling back today but the line has been busy every time.

Got ahold of him a second ago, got tracking numbers and both of the packages that the top is in will be here by the end of the week.
So... Now I'm excited!!

According to tracking it has passed customs and is in San Francisco now. That was the delay from when he had told me it would ship a few weeks ago.

The longer you wait, the longer the delay will be. With spring and summer approaching, the line only gets longer

With that said, you should still order one, they are great

He also had a special for January and February so I'm sure he had quite a few ordered. It was only 800.00 shipped. Now it's 1200.00. Might want to wait another year or find a used one if you can.

Does it take a while...yep. Is it worth it...in my opinion, yep. Definitely helps to order well in advance of the busy season. I have his tops on both of my Jeeps. A fastback and the cargo top.

Especially for the cargo top, let that sucker sit in the sun for a few hrs before trying to install. The two top pieces aren't too bad, but the rear window and cargo cover are tight as a drum at first. Once installed, give it plenty of sun to get the fabric stretched and much more forgiving. After a couple weeks, it's a breeze to pull off and on.

I have been looking at these tops to... I have read of delays but:

From my understanding it is pretty much a one man operation, He is building this stuff by hand and of the highest quality. Your not getting some Chinese assembled junk your getting one of the highest quality tops on the market and American made all the way. I might order a top next winter so I am in no rush for it.

I took advantage of their February sale and got the multi-top package. Ordered on February 9th and hoping to get it soon. He said 2-4 weeks, but from what I hear he says that to every customer. I've also heard the owner is a little "different" so I'm not going to bug him for my order. Just want it in time for nice weather, which is coming soon in Georgia.

Both packages from offroad heroes came in yesterday. I'm excited to put it on, but I think I'll have to wait for a little more consistent warm weather. It's killing me!!

The instructions to install them suck, just saying. Any questions post them up in here and I'll help you out, or PM me and I'll get you my name on facebook to help you out.

Otherwise.. yes, the wait is long - but the top is totally worth it. I love mine.

I had time to install the 2 top pieces last night. Right now I have the rear window, cargo piece and roll bar cover sitting in the sun. Any advice on doing the remainder? What order should I go in? Are the side "caps" the last thing you do? Thanks

Side caps last.. start from the tail gate and go inward. Do it on a hot day, it's hard to get the stretch on the left and right side at first.
