Buying a slighly used 2014 jeep with 8000km that has never had an oil change. acceptable if i change the oil today Or did they let that oil get too old and i should pass on the car?

Is this a real question?

Modern day cars run on conventional oil regularly go 5000-7500 miles before changing. Synthetic allows you even more freedom at up to 10000-15000 miles. 8000km is less than 5000 mi. You're not gonna buy a Jeep/car because the oil hasn't been changed yet? Who said it needed to be changed?

Oil doesn't go "old" the way you put it. Stop obsessing over oil.

I'm not worried about miles. I'm worried about time. Would have been built in 2013 probably? It's now 2015

Possibly, not probably. My 2007 and 2015 were built in 2007 and 2015, respectively. My 2004 was built in 2003.

The door jamb will give you the build date. Any later model 3.6 JK is supposed to have an oil change at least once a year regardless of the mileage. That JK is due for an oil change. Make your decision based upon many other factors. Just don't pass solely based upon an oil change.

Enjoy. Show it some love. (BTW I change my oil every 5000 miles. Just did and it was needed)
