Are the eyes on OME shocks different to other makes?

Since fitting my Rugged Ridge BPE's the rear shocks seem to move slightly within the eliminators causing a clicking sound.

I know the original bar pins were moulded into the bushes and I wonder if that is why. I'm also wondering if I can solve the problem with some poly-bushes.

yes, OME shock bushings are different sizes than others. yes they are bonded to the bar pins.

and no, you don't need to mess with them in any way, and the bar pins are fine, they don't need to be eliminated in any manner.

Thanks folks on both counts.

On the first one........too late,the BPE's are already fitted.

On the second one...... I'd better get some poly-bushes.
